Pumpkin-seed banana smoothie — a creamy green-flecked cup of brain-and-focus minerals (2–5 years)
A creamy banana smoothie flecked with ground pumpkin seeds — zinc, magnesium and good fats for a sharp, settled little mind.
Why am I making this?
Pumpkin seeds bring zinc, magnesium and good fats linked to focus and a settled mood, and banana and milk make them creamy and sweet enough that a child happily drinks them down (ruchi). Ground fine, the seeds are both absorbable and safe. The edible pumpkin seed is a modern snack-food, so we place it honestly within the satmya principle; the brain case is pure modern nutrition.
Ancient text
