Til-gud warm milk — a nutty winter cup that pours double calcium into little bones (2–5 years)
Warm milk blended with roasted sesame and a little jaggery — a cosy winter cup carrying double the calcium for growing bones.
Why am I making this?
Sesame (til) is one of the richest plant calcium sources, and with milk it makes a genuine double-calcium cup for bones; jaggery adds a little iron and warmth, a classic winter pairing. Roasted and ground fine, it turns nutty and absorbable. The classical texts value tila and milk together as nourishing and strengthening — a warming, comforting, bone-building cup.

Modern research
Sesame and milk together are calcium-dense for bone, and jaggery adds a little iron; varied calcium sources and dairy are recommended for children.
