Roasted makhana-walnut trail — a crunchy ghee-roasted handful for busy little brains (2–5 years)
Phool makhana and walnuts roasted golden in a little ghee — a light, crunchy trail of omega-3 and magnesium for a focused mind.
Why am I making this?
Walnuts (akshota) bring omega-3 for the brain and lotus seeds (makhana) add light protein and magnesium with a crunch children love (ruchi); ghee-roasted, it's a clean trail mix that beats a packet. Roasting low and slow until truly crisp is the chef's step, and the walnuts are broken small for little ones. Makhana and walnut are classical strengthening foods.
