Vegetable masala oats — a warm, colourful savoury breakfast for immunity (1–2 years)
Soft savoury oats simmered with peppers, carrot and turmeric — a warm, colourful breakfast that turns a plain bowl into an immunity boost.
Why am I making this?
A savoury oats upma folds vitamin-C peppers and tomato with turmeric (haridra) into a warm, colourful breakfast that's gentle and quick; cooking the oats soft like an upma and finishing with lemon to lift the vitamin C are the chef's steps. Turmeric is classical; oats, peppers and tomato sit within the satmya principle.
