Guava-amla chaat cubes — a tangy vitamin-C bowl that out-snacks any candy (2–5 years)
Soft guava and amla cubes tossed in a little lemon and a pinch of black salt — a tangy vitamin-C chaat children pop like sweets.
Why am I making this?
Guava and amla are two of the highest vitamin-C fruits, and turned into a playful little chaat with lemon and mint they become a snack a child reaches for (ruchi) — frontline immunity as finger food. Deseeding the guava centre and dicing small is the chef's step for little mouths. Amla (amalaki) is a classical restorative; guava is a New World fruit, placed within the satmya principle.
